Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Tarlok Trucking Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across various routes. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
