Position Overview
Aramark Canada is on the lookout for dedicated Team Leaders to enhance the experience at Tim Horton's. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Team Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, crafting quality beverages and food items, ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere, and guiding team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality beverages, whole bean products, and food items consistently by following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Prepare food items made to order with precision and care.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols, to maintain a secure environment for all team members during shifts.
- Support fellow team members as needed to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Handle light cash management tasks, including processing transactions, counting cash, and participating in cash audits.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized at all times; manage waste effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
- Ensure that courteous and quality customer service is provided to every guest.
- May operate cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens.
- Engage in food preparation, including the merchandising of food stations and service.
- Consistently clean and sanitize the surrounding work area to uphold hygiene standards.
- Restock shelves, refrigerators, and preparation stations as necessary.
- Comply with all Aramark and franchise policies and procedures.
- Assist the Supervisor in adjusting team schedules based on staffing needs.
- Facilitate team meetings to discuss safety updates, events, and important information.
- Undertake other job-related tasks as required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food service industry is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity is necessary.
- Outstanding customer service skills are essential.
- Proficient in effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
