About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation & Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our robotic and automation systems, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain robotic systems and automation equipment
  • Provide training to team members on equipment use and maintenance
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Program and optimize system performance as needed
  • Manage two full production lines, including five robots and automated components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a dynamic environment
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor to prioritize jobs and minimize production downtime
  • Contribute to a positive workplace environment and adhere to company health and safety policies

Requirements

  • 2 years of industrial food equipment experience (e.g. flow wrappers, conveyors, high-speed packaging equipment)
  • Knowledge of robots, electrical/electronic controls, and SAP/SQR systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing facility
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
