Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee specialized development projects and initiatives that have a significant impact across the organization.
  • Craft, revise, implement, and monitor intricate action plans and programs that require a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory compliance to harmonize business objectives with best practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and partners, assisting them in the positioning, planning, execution, and monitoring of critical projects and initiatives.
  • Identify, analyze, and diagnose major challenges, offering recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Develop and refine policies, standards, models, and programs that support the strategic initiatives of your unit.
  • Deliver legal and regulatory compliance training to internal staff to foster a culture of ethics and compliance.
  • Act as a representative of your unit in discussions with decision-making bodies.
  • Advocate for Desjardins's interests in negotiations with external partners and organizations.
