Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at 102709 PEI INC. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to architectural plans and building codes.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, safely removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, following established procedures.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Operate and maintain various construction equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
