Job Title: Dining Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dining Server to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Unpack and store supplies, maintain work and storage areas in a clean and safe manner
  • Wash, clean, and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service
  • Operate and clean food equipment, furniture, and maintain dining area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors
  • Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset
