Your Impact as an Occupational Therapist

You will assess clients' physical and cognitive abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to address a wide range of needs. Your expertise will empower clients to regain function, manage pain, and participate in meaningful activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and best practices.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to promote functional independence and improve quality of life.
  • Educate clients and their families on strategies for managing conditions and promoting recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.
Qualifications:
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate education and professional development.
