Location: Abbotsford, BC

The Treater position focuses on the proficient and precise operation of treating cylinders and related machinery to chemically process wood products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute treating charges in accordance with established protocols
  • Document charges on data sheets and electronic systems
  • Manage the loading and unloading of materials to the staging area
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections on all shipments
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the treating facility and equipment
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns
  • Label and finalize charge documentation
  • Examine shipments for any damage
  • Comply with workplace safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification is mandatory
  • Understanding of loading and staging procedures
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations
  • Strong attention to detail in record-keeping
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Steel-toed footwear is required
