The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the retail team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween, responsible for driving sales and profitability in a fast-paced store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain exceptional Guest Services, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Support the Store Manager in various tasks, including staff development, expense control, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while controlling costs and minimizing shrinkage.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure effective visual merchandising and inventory control.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including equal employment opportunities and diversity initiatives.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day, standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Prior retail and management experience required.
