Wisedocs AI is dedicated to transforming the way companies in the insurance, legal, and healthcare sectors process medical documents through advanced AI technology. Each week, we handle vast quantities of documents, significantly reducing the time our clients spend on manual processing and expediting medical claims.

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to contribute to our dynamic engineering team. Our flagship product is a user-centric web application that serves as an automation platform for intricate medical data processing. This application integrates with our cutting-edge AI/ML framework, utilizing computer vision and generative models to interpret complex legal and medical documents, thereby enhancing the efficiency of medical claim processing.

This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring on-site presence at least twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Engineering team, your duties will encompass:

  • Designing and developing essential front-end functionalities for our automation platform and sophisticated machine learning engine.
  • Leading the development of user-focused features in response to increasing client needs, skillfully enhancing our core product with added value.
  • Creating detailed documentation (Confluence) for system components and architecture, justifying architectural choices and clarifying engineering contributions across the team.
  • Building front-end components with a focus on usability, performance, and adherence to best coding practices.
  • Adjusting to a dynamic workload by taking on additional responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Proficiency in relevant front-end technologies.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer, with a solid grasp of user interface design and development.
  • Expertise in front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database systems, including SQL or NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools, including CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
  • Ability to thrive in an Agile environment, with knowledge of automation practices throughout the development, build, and deployment phases of the application lifecycle.
  • A flexible and proficient engineering mindset; comfortable navigating frequently changing work items and scopes, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently.
