Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, identifying potential breaches, and negotiating with vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor contracts and ensure timely extensions, close-outs, and renewals.
- Review existing contracts to identify potential breaches and take corrective action.
- Develop and send requests for proposals to potential vendors.
- Apply for new projects and renewals with Tarion as required.
- Ensure all homes are enrolled with Tarion.
- Review construction schedules and monitor closing dates, sending extension letters as necessary.
- Visit construction sites at least once per week to ensure compliance with company standards.
- 7-10 years of experience in a Contract Manager position.
- Strong background in sourcing and procurement.
- Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to visit construction sites as required.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- $130,000 to $150,000 base salary.
- Vehicle allowance.
- Gas card.
