About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's Oakville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Load and unload dishes, utensils, and other items from storage areas and serving stations.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies and ingredients.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Help with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and efficient interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
