Job Summary

RCT Constructions is seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Replace parts as required to ensure minimal downtime
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English or French language required
  • Permanent work term
