Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement engaging activities based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and safe environment
  • Provide high-quality care and programming to children
  • Use our parent communication app to provide daily updates and communication
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in all program areas and common spaces
Requirements:
  • ECE IT certification from a program recognized in British Columbia
  • Special Needs Educator (SNE) is an asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate required
  • 3 professional reference checks to be completed
