Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As an Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for performing all aircraft paintwork, including surface preparation, painting, and coating.

Key Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by stripping, sanding, polishing, masking, cleaning, and priming.
  • Painting and Coating: Apply various types of paints, primers, and coatings used in the aerospace industry, including epoxy, polyurethane, and other specialized coatings.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain painting equipment in good operating condition.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work for imperfections and ensure that the finished product meets strict quality standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma of professional/technical studies in aeronautical/industrial painting or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in aeronautical painting or any other relevant experience (automotive, industrial painting).
  • Skills: Knowledge of various painting methods, such as spray painting, HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spraying, and application of Electrostatic paint. Experience with painting fiberglass pieces and sanding.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work efficiently with other professionals in the aviation field and effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Respect health, safety regulations, and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous materials.

Additional Requirements

  • Authorization to Work: Must be authorized to work in Canada.
