Qualifications- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: On-the-job training provided
- Conditions: Exposure to strong odours
- Temperature: Cold and refrigerated settings
- Industry: Meat processing facilities
- Perform the humane slaughter of livestock and extract inedible components from carcasses.
- Disassemble beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses into primary cuts for subsequent processing or packaging.
- Prepare poultry by removing feathers, singeing, and washing.
- Bone meat to meet processing standards.
- Utilize knives and other cutting tools effectively.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
