About the Role:

GardaWorld Cash is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Guard to join our secure transportation team in Moncton, NB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our customers' values, ensuring their security and integrity at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pickups and deliveries of values safely and efficiently for each client
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) from various financial institutions
  • Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules closely
  • Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork
  • Respect procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld
  • Carry a firearm during the performance of duties

Requirements:

  • Possess a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL, Possession and Acquisition License)
  • Own a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
  • Capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Available to work variable shifts (weekends, nights, etc.)
  • Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
  • Customer service oriented and skilled in managing stressful situations
  • Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines

What We Offer:

  • Salary: $20.50 for day shift, $20.93 for night shift (increases after 500 and 1000 hours worked)
