About the Role

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Rig Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore drilling rig's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and switchboards.
  • Equipment Testing: Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of stored materials and supplies.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical system issues, including industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of electrical equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 2190 hours per year.
