The Vancouver School District is seeking qualified Elementary Teachers to fill on-call positions. As a TTOC, you will be responsible for teaching primary or intermediate grades on an as-needed basis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Elementary Teachers to join our team. As a TTOC, you will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and abilities, and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach primary or intermediate grades on an as-needed basis
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education
  • Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experience
  • Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Certification Branch (TCB)
  • Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)
