About the Role

Prairie Donair is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
