About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver at MaCa - private home. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
    • Supervise and care for children
    • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
    • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
    • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
    • Shop for food and household supplies
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
    • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
  • Transportation and Errands
    • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
    • Tend to emotional well-being of children
    • Help children with homework
    • Cook
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years
    • Language
      • English or French
    • Work Environment
