Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing customer service, processing blood samples, and entering requisitions and results accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens
- Enter requisitions and results accurately
- Provide customer service to create a positive patient experience
- Manage anxious patients through the sample obtaining process
- Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
- Secondary School diploma and Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course
- Phlebotomy skills and ability to manage anxious patients
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
