Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Childcare Specialist to provide exceptional care for children in a private residence. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the well-being and development of children.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish or Castilian is an asset.
Work Environment

The position is based in a non-smoking household, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks related to childcare.
  • Provide bathing, dressing, and feeding for infants and children.
  • Implement discipline strategies as requested by parents.
  • Organize engaging activities, including games and outings.
  • Prepare children for rest periods and assist with homework.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
Target Audience

The ideal candidate will supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children, ensuring their safety and development.
