Senior IT Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our team at Intact. As a key member of our Infrastructure Technology Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain architectures, models, standards, and strategic orientations to support the company's plans and objectives.
  • Lead and develop the architecture part of systems and technology projects, collaborating with other team members.
  • Oversee the implementation of standards and orientations for personnel responsible for executing plans and projects.
  • Mentor and guide Security and Network Operations in resolving high-risk challenges.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects to ensure technology infrastructure requirements are considered prior to project or initiative execution.
  • Develop and manage the technology evolution Roadmap & Strategies for your respective domain.
  • Monitor the current-state technical landscape of your respective domain to identify deficiencies.
  • Present technology architecture solutions for peer review to the broader Technology Architecture.
Requirements:
  • University Degree in information technology, software engineering, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Security or Networking Architect in any domain.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Security and Networking infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) components and Zero Trust Security Principles & Architecture Model.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with tech-savvy business leaders and Executives at all levels of the company.
