About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Visionmasters. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as process returns and exchanges.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work with Technology: Operate a price scanner, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
