At Clark Builders, we're seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional projects and experiences for our clients across Western and Northern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades on commercial sites.
  • Build foundations, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Read and interpret drawings, and receive instructions from supervisors to execute tasks efficiently.
  • Perform a range of carpentry services, including backing, blocking, framing, installation, and other general carpentry tasks.
  • Install precast units, framing systems, sheathing, exterior trims, interior/exterior doors, hardware, windows, flooring, wall coverings, washroom accessories, and architectural materials.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean construction site and document tasks and hazard assessments.
  • Represent Clark Builders professionally and respectfully, upholding our values and standards.

Requirements:

  • Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and long hours while completing repetitive tasks.
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprenticeship training or Journeyperson certificate, with concrete form work experience.
  • Valid first aid certificate and relevant safety certifications (ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015) are assets.
