Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and developing marketing strategies to promote our brand.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain our social media presence across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Develop and implement a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content is posted regularly.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns, including photoshoots and video shoots.
- Provide administrative support for social media marketing campaigns, including budget management and record-keeping.
- Assist in creating and administering marketing programs and materials, including copywriting and public relations.
- Monitor and manage our online reputation across various locations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and industry developments.
- Knowledge of the fitness industry and personal training certification is an asset.
- Experience in video editing and photography, as well as basic video/photo editing software, is required.
- Recent graduate of a related program or 1-3 years of experience in marketing/video production is preferred.
- Understanding of marketing principles and strategy implementation is essential.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong organizational, administrative, or project management skills are necessary.
- Post-secondary education in business, communication, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Social Media Management and other certifications are an asset.
- Experience working with CRMs and email marketing platforms is an asset.
- Knowledge of public relations and press release is an asset.
