We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Ville de La Malbaie. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals in and around swimming pools and other aquatic environments.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Swimming Pool Supervision: Supervise swimming pools and other aquatic areas to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff members on lifeguarding techniques and emergency procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and other relevant information.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest lifeguarding techniques and procedures.
- Certifications: Possess current certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a lifeguard.
- Education: Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
