Daily Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity.
  • Collaborate with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Greet and escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation.
  • Handle reservations accurately and update guest status in the reservation system.
  • Prepare a briefing sheet for each shift to inform team members of events and special occasions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the restaurant's surroundings and nearby attractions.
  • Keep the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas organized and tidy.
  • Familiarize yourself with table numbers and server assignments.
  • Complete special request forms for celebrations and ensure all team members are informed.
  • Regularly check and maintain the cleanliness of restrooms throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all food safety standards and protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and momentum in a professional manner.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service; restaurant experience is a plus.
