OPEN COMPETITION
The Keethanow Group of Businesses is currently seeking applications for a Permanent Full-Time position at the Keethanow Gas Bar.
Position: Cashier
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Welcoming customers as they enter the store;
- Managing the front-end operations with a focus on loss prevention;
- Ensuring checkout areas are clean and organized;
- Handling merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently;
- Processing payments through cash, checks, and credit cards;
- Providing assistance and addressing customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
- Preferred completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Capable of multitasking in a busy environment;
- Demonstrates sensitivity, tact, and professionalism in customer interactions;
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere;
- Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
