Job Title: Drywall Installation Specialist

Brown Bros Framing and Drywall Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
