We are a leading provider of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services in Ontario, dedicated to delivering expert assessment and treatment services to individuals with traumatic and acquired neurological injuries and severe orthopedic injuries.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with our occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech language pathologists to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 1:1 therapy sessions in the community, including client's homes, workplaces, gyms, and pools
  • Implement light fitness or personal training programs in various environments
  • Support adaptive school function and community integration goals
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational days, training sessions, and establishing personal networks
Requirements
  • Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma from a recognized community college, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the rehabilitation approach to client care and the roles of OT, PT, and SLP
  • Experience with rehabilitation services, pool therapy, and/or personal training certifications are assets
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook
