  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in cross-functional, agile teams delivering and supporting mobile applications.
  • Extensive experience with Android development (Kotlin or Java).
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns, with the ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Proficient in programming languages relevant to mobile development, with a solid grasp of object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
  • Preferred experience in building and/or integrating RESTful API solutions for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSocket, and version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Strong skills in writing unit tests and conducting automated testing.
  • Proficient in debugging and optimizing mobile application performance.
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines and tools for automating development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of mobile application security best practices, secure coding principles, and encryption techniques.
  • A self-starter with the ability to take concepts from design to implementation independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
