Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our security systems, supervising a team of security personnel, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure the effective operation of security systems.
  • Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and company assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
  • Provide training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they are equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a security supervisory role.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of environments.
