About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at EMAAN EXCAVATING AND CONSTRUCTION LTD. as an Excavation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including lubrication and refilling tanks.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment as needed.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure accurate location and navigation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios and other communication equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
