About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes by providing occupational therapy services and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to clients, including assessments, planning, and implementation of services
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans
- Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance occupational therapy services
- Develop and maintain records and reports related to client care
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Sciences from a recognized program, as well as current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). You will also need to be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
