About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Planet Healthcare Group INC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Communication: Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, and maintain accurate records of treatments given.
  • Client Education: Suggest home care instructions and provide information about massage techniques to promote client understanding and self-care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and values and ethics.
Work Environment

As a Registered Massage Therapist at Planet Healthcare Group INC, you will work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, providing massage therapy services to clients.
