About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Child Care Specialist at Mr. Amzallag. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep the home tidy
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring a balanced diet for the children in your care
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming environment
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive presence
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic and personal growth
  • Cook, preparing healthy and delicious meals for the children and family
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • Language of work: English or French
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week
