Job Description: Fashion Designer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fashion trends, excellent design skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute product lines that align with the brand's vision and merchandise strategy.
  • Translate fashion concepts into tangible designs, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and commercially viable.
  • Conduct thorough research on fabric, yarn, and trim trends, identifying key materials and silhouettes for upcoming seasons.
  • Collaborate closely with buyers and production managers to ensure the development of fashionable and marketable products that meet brand objectives and financial targets.
  • Attend industry trade shows, markets, and retail events to stay abreast of emerging trends and gather inspiration.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and mood boards to communicate design concepts to senior management, buyers, and sales teams.
  • Interpret fashion forecasts and translate them into actionable designs that resonate with the target customer.
  • Manage the technical aspects of product development, including creating tech packs and collaborating with technical designers and production managers.
  • Participate in fit approvals to ensure garments meet aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of brand identity and ensure all designs align with its core values.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably within a similar industry setting.
  • A bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field.
  • A proven track record of success in developing and executing innovative designs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
