Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to work overtime, with a physically demanding job requiring sitting for extended periods.
  • Flexibility, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
  • Organized and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work a 45-hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime.

Language of work: English.
