Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic services to clients referred through various channels, addressing psychosocial challenges linked to trauma, injury, and mental health conditions.
  • Utilize a goal-oriented, therapeutic methodology to alleviate distress and enhance social and occupational functioning.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions to evaluate clients' treatment strategies, objectives, progress, and any obstacles encountered.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and maintain effective communication with all involved parties.

Licensing Requirements:

  • Must be registered with the appropriate regulatory body as a Licensed Counseling Therapist.
  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in case analysis and treatment of various mental health symptoms across a diverse adult clientele.
  • Clinical expertise in areas such as grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders.
  • Familiarity with the psychological management of chronic pain and concussion syndromes is advantageous.
  • Training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy methodologies (e.g., CBT, ACT, CPT).
  • Experience collaborating within a multi/interdisciplinary team framework.
  • Proficient in preparing assessment, progress, and discharge documentation.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and integrity are essential.
