Job Title: Finance Solution Architect

Job Location: Remote (Anywhere in US)

Experience: 15+ years

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with 15+ years of experience in finance consulting, including at least 5 years leading finance transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various finance functions, including General Ledger, Credit Management, and Legal Consolidations, and a strong understanding of finance regulations across Europe, Canada, and the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of consultants in defining, designing, and executing finance transformation programs.
  • Collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term finance vision, goals, and strategies.
  • Interface with senior clients to build confidence and guide teams through due diligence and issue resolution.
  • Finance Process Transformation:
  • Lead phases related to Finance Process definition, Business Process Workflows, Functional Design Specifications, and Business User Engagement.
  • Conduct workshops with global IT professionals and subject matter experts to translate requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics.
  • Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices and documenting functional specifications.
  • Client & Team Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients' IT and business leadership, providing expertise in finance.
  • Contribute to client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps.
  • Coach and develop team members to deliver high-quality results, promoting professional development.
  • Solution Delivery:
  • Define, execute, and support testing of finance solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership in branding, knowledge management, and capability building to offer high-quality consulting solutions in a global landscape.
  • Finance Subject Area Expertise:
  • Credit Management
  • Account Receivables/Payables
  • Asset Accounting
  • Bank Accounting
  • Legal Consolidations
  • Closing Processes
  • Project Accounting
  • Finance Master Data
  • Knowledge of European, Canada & US Finance regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of consulting experience in finance, with at least 5 years leading finance transformation programs.
  • Proven track record of managing both large and small teams in business finance process transformation.
  • Strong expertise in finance regulations across the USA, Canada, and Europe.
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams and supporting multiple time zones when necessary.
  • Knowledge of QAD ERP is preferred but not mandatory.
  • MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree.
  • At least two successful finance transformation consulting programs.
