About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at 2838516 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Laundry and Linens: Wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as change and clean linens.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Sweep, mop, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Assisting Clients: Provide basic information on facilities, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including cleaning changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
  • Work Schedule: Overtime required, with a regular work schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
