Your role:

We are currently looking for promotional representatives who will assist the Marketing & Communications team in organizing and executing brand activations and community events, aimed at building strong emotional connections with our audience.

As a representative, your primary responsibility will be to support all marketing and communications initiatives, both internally and externally. The list of key responsibilities in this job posting is not exhaustive and may be adjusted upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in developing and implementing outreach initiatives and partnerships:
    • Support the senior officer with project planning and execution.
    • Coordinate project logistics.
    • Guide programming and technical teams in creating specials and remotes related to outreach initiatives and partnerships.
  • Participate in off-site events to promote the brand, primarily to a French-speaking audience:
    • Prepare, transport, and set up equipment at the event site.
    • Distribute promotional materials.
    • Engage with participants and passers-by, providing them with information about the organization and its programming. A solid command of English is essential for engaging with English-speaking attendees during the event.
  • Create memorable experiences for Canadians to connect with the brand.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of activities by generating reports and compiling statistics on audience and staff feedback.
  • Maintain databases and update their content as necessary.
  • Keep records and archives related to programs, outreach experiences, and partnerships, including bios and photographic materials.
  • Field inquiries, locate requested information, and respond to audience and staff feedback.

Please note that these are part-time on-call positions. Candidates may be included in an on-call talent pool for future assignments.

What you bring:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.

Skills:

  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and trustworthy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with individuals of all ages.
  • Fluently bilingual: French and English.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice to have:

  • Experience as an audience wrangler.
  • Knowledge or education in marketing communications, sales, theatre, film studies, or related fields.
  • Understanding of the media landscape and the competitive advantages of public broadcasting.
