Job Title: Construction Trades Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Excellent Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Overtime required
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment:

Our construction sites can be physically demanding and may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments.
