About the RoleThe Subreddit Success team is responsible for helping community founders build and activate successful communities. As an iOS Software Engineer III, you will drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy.
- Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Participate in a team of engineers to improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.
- Minimum years of experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
- Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and keep projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a remote environment.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
