About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically capable individual to join our team at Pigeon 2006 inc as a Chicken Handler. This is a permanent position working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on broiler and meat-type chicken production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily operations of the chicken farm, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of the birds.
  • Work in a team environment to maintain a safe and efficient work site.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work a regular schedule of 35-40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a dusty and odorous environment.
  • Fluency in English or French is required.
