Job Title: Lead VFX Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead VFX Artist to join our team. As a Lead VFX Artist, you will be responsible for leading the development of visual effects for our games, including creating and implementing new effects, optimizing existing effects, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of visual effects for our games, including creating and implementing new effects, optimizing existing effects, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Art, Design, and Audio, to ensure that visual effects align with the overall vision and goals of the game.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the game engine and its capabilities, as well as the latest technologies and trends in visual effects.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including mentoring and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of visual effects.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in visual effects, with a strong background in game development.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality visual effects, including experience with particle systems, shaders, and other advanced techniques.
  • Strong understanding of game engines, including Unity and Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
