Senior Communications Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Consultant to join our redevelopment project team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic and tactical communications support to meet the needs of our internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders, including the hospital staff, medical staff, community, and media.
- Manage projects on budget and on deadline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality communications materials.
- Build strategic alliances with internal and external partners, including the hospital staff and medical staff, community, and representatives of the media.
- Develop and promote a positive awareness and profile for the redevelopment project, providing best practice expertise to enable active engagement among FH staff, Community, the Foundation, government, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Communications department of FH to ensure appropriate communications are established and implemented.
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Five to seven years of experience in communications, preferably in a public sector, health care, or a large complex organization.
- Proven track record of managing projects on budget and on deadline, with a focus on delivering high-quality communications materials.
- Excellent writing, graphic arts, and photographic arts skills, with the ability to operate related equipment and software applications.
- Strong knowledge of current trends in writing, graphic arts, photographic arts, display/exhibit development, and electronic communications, including social media.
