Job Summary

Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer of electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling oil-cooled transformers. We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Production Coordinator to join our team in London, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Liaison: Maintain customer records, update account information, and provide administrative support to the production team.
  • Order Management: Receive and create customer orders, gather and analyze data, and input information into Visual ERP.
  • Purchase Requisitions: Prepare purchase requisitions for purchased components and distribute to production board/floor.
  • Production Coordination: Work with production supervisors, lead hands, and shipping department to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Order Status: Monitor order status and shipping status, advise customers of order status/delivery times/rush orders.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve product or service challenges with the Quality/Production departments.
  • Customer Interaction: Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of production planning experience.
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Diploma in Engineering or business-related fields (an asset).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read blueprints (an asset).
  • Production knowledge and computer savvy.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (an asset).
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
  • Planning, prioritizing, organizing, and time management.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • A proactive individual with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • English written and verbal communication skills.
